ISLAMABAD:
Three officials of the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA), who were being investigated by the FIA for their involvement in extracting money from a well-known YouTuber and call centres, have resigned from their positions.
According to a notification, Deputy Director Sarfaraz Chaudhry, Deputy Director Muhammad Usman and Deputy Director Shoaib Riaz have resigned from their positions. “We inform you that the following officers are relieved from the NCCIA effective on the date of approval of their resignations: November 20.”
Another official, Deputy Director Asma Majeed, also resigned from her position.
