Three new ministers swore after the expansion of the federal cabinet

After the recent expansion of the Federal Cabinet of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, three new ministers have lent oath at the Aiwan-Sadr (president’s house), said Express News.

The oath taking ceremony was officiated by the interim president Yousaf Raza Gillani on Friday. The new ministers swore include Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, Shizra Mansab Ali and Armaghan Subhani.

Syed Imran Ahmed Shah has been appointed Federal Minister for the relief of poverty and social security, while Armaghan Subhani has been assigned the position of Minister of State for Planning and Development. Shizra Mansab Ali will serve as Minister of State for Climate Change.

After the ceremony, official notifications for their appointments were also issued, which has the total number of members in the federal cabinet to 54. The cabinet now consists of 31 federal ministers, 11 ministers of state, 4 advisors and 8 special assistants.
