Chet Holmgren scored all but one of his 24 points in the second half when the Oklahoma City Thunder recovered from a 29-point deficit after Ja Morant left the game with a hip injury and beat the Grizzlies of Memphis 114-108 on Thursday night due to a 3-0 advantage in the first river series.
Morant was injured with just over three minutes in the first half and Memphis leading 67-40. They obtained the next basket after it came out and still led by 26 points in the part -time.
The 29-point return was the second largest in a post-supporting game in the NBA since the game data per game began registering in the 1996-97 season.
The only largest: a return of 31 points for the Los Angeles clippers against Golden State on April 15, 2019.
The best sown thunder, which won the game 1 131-80 in the fifth margin of victory in the history of the Postseason of the NBA, did not even have an advantage in this until the fourth quarter. Now, they can close the series on Saturday.
