Pakistan’s exports reached a historical maximum of $ 342 million in March, the highest monthly figure, according to data published by the Ministry of Information Technology, Express News reported.
Growth marks the 18th consecutive month of increase in IT exports, an attribute of trends attributes to the support and facilitation of effective policies by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC).
During the first nine months of fiscal year 2025, Total Ti exports of Pakistan were $ 2.8 billion. The “Uraan Pakistan” strategy of the Government aims to bring this figure to $ 10 billion, banking currency stabilization and support policies to promote greater expansion.
“The constant increase in exports reflects the growing world demand for Ti Pakistani services,” said a ministry official, added that the international footprint of local companies continues to grow.
Only two months before, exports increased by 28%, reaching $ 1.86 billion. IT Minister of State, Shaza Fatima Khawaja, said at that time that the government expects exports to rise more in the next quarters.
