Rory Mcilroy joined some golf immortals after winning the Masters on Sunday.
Mcilroy became the sixth player to win a Grand Slam of his career, which is raising the trophy in the four main tournaments: the Masters, the PGA championship, the US Open and the open championship.
This in the Augusta National Golf Club has been the most elusive for Mcilroy, who had not won a specialty since the open in 2014.

After beating Justin Rose in a Playoff hole on Sunday, one of those five previous golfers of Grand Slam shared his congratulations for the Irish of the northern, since he knows very well how much it meant for him.
“Welcome to the club,” Tiger Woods wrote in X. “Complete the Grand Slam in Augusta is something special. His determination during this round, and all this trip has been shown, and now you are part of the story. Proud of you!”
Woods was surprised in Augusta this week, since he suffered an injury in Achilles last month that, according to reports, cannot walk correctly. While it was known that his golf season is probably on the shelf, some wondered if he would be present at the Tuesday night champions dinner.
Unfortunately, Woods was not among those who enjoy the prepared menu of Scottie Scheffler.

Woods and Mcilroy have had a great golf relationship over the years, being both Nike athletes and being two of the best in the game since the latter became a professional.
Mcilroy pointed out during his interview after the round with the journalists that Woods was among those of the Grand Slam Club that annually reminded him of his belief that the green jacket would soon be on his back.
Woods, Gene Sarazen, Gary Player, Ben Hogan and Jack Nicklaus were the only five golfers who completed the Grand Slam until Mcilroy did it on Sunday.
It was performed quite full of drama, with Mcilroy crossing numerous maximums and minimums during its final round only to miss the Putt par in its 72nd hole of the tournament, which forced a playoff with Rose.

But Mcilroy dug deeply, hitting the necessary impulse and the approach to the 18 once again to prepare with a short Putt Birdie for victory.
A weight of the shoulders was removed, and the story continued with the green jacket that Scottie Scheffler of 2024 placed in the Mcilroy cabin in Butler after the round of her life.
