Tiger Woods will not be in the field this week at the Oakmont Country Club for the 125th Open of US, but knows exactly what they are about to face these golfers on Thursday during the first round.
Woods, who has been rehabilitating an Achilles that broke in March, ended up tied secondly in the famous course in the United States Open of 2007.
In association with his brandy network brand, Woods gave advice for those who participated in the third major of the year.

Trust in your game will be key.
“There is no falsification about Oakmont,” Woods said in the video posted on Instagram. “The golf course is large, yes, but it is alone, there is no way to avoid it. You just have to hit the golf ball well, and it favors the batters longer just by the degrees, the complexes.”
There is only one problem with those long blow balls. They better leave directly.

The golfers have laughed during the practice rounds of how thick it is the rude in Oakmont street and around the greens.
But, as Woods said, we must not pretend the challenge Oakmont presents. It is a matter of how well you trust your golf game.
If you can hit the ball a lot, Woods believes that the score card will favor you instead of those who decide clubs to hit a straight ball.

“It simply helps so much to come with more short iron, to be able to trace the ball,” said Woods, an exceptionally long batter. “It’s about losing the ball at right points … because if you don’t, it’s horrible!”
In addition to the approximate presentation of a challenge in Oakmont, some golfers have been discussing the betrayal of the greens. A lost putt could drive the ball through a slippery slope beyond the hole, so it is essential to control the turn with approximation and speed shots with putts once you get on.
The holes can be extremely long, such as the eighth hole of 289 yards par-3.

There are some golfers who can hit the long and straight ball, Scottie Scheffler and Bryson Dechambeau among them, which could run this week.
Dechambeau is the current champion of the United States Open after defeating Rory Mcilroy in Pinehurst No. 2 last year. But Scheffler is still Red Hot after his victory in the PGA championship in Quail Hollow Club last month.
