Tiktok eliminated almost 25 million videos in Pakistan during the first quarter of 2025, according to its compliance report of the community guidelines of the first quarter of 2025, which covers the activity from January to March.

According to the report, a total of 24,954,128 videos in Pakistan were withdrawn for violating the guidelines of the platform community. The proactive elimination rate in the country remained exceptionally high at 99.4 percent, with 95.8 percent of the videos marked eliminated within 24 hours after publication.

Worldwide, Tiktok eliminated approximately 211 million videos during the same period, which represents approximately 0.9 percent of the entire content loaded on the platform. Of them, more than 184 million were detected and eliminated through automated systems, while more than 7.5 million were restored after a secondary review. The proactive elimination rate was 99.0%, with 94.3% of the marked content eliminated within 24 hours after publication.

The report also revealed that 30.1% of all videos worldwide contained sensitive or mature issues, which makes it the most common reason for the application. Other violations included violations of privacy and security guidelines (15.6%), safety and civility standards (11.5%), erroneous information (45.5%) and the use of media edited or content generated by AI (13.8%).

Tiktok said his quarterly compliance reports are part of his continuous commitment to transparency and responsibility. The company noted that reports are designed to help users, regulators and the general public better understand how moderation of content is carried out at scale and what types of violations are addressed most frequently.
