  • TikTok employees working from home should continue to do so amid Los Angeles wildfires, company says
  • Affected owners will have to take time off
  • The company’s Los Angeles office is closed due to power outages

The devastating wildfires affecting at least 45 square miles in California are believed to have already burned 1,300 properties, but TikTok says workers affected by the fires should use their personal or sick days if they can’t work from home.

This despite its Los Angeles office being closed due to wind-related power outages, making working from home the only current option for local workers.
