- Tineco Floor One S9 Scientist is a new wet drying vacuum
- The magnetic fin in the front of the floor head acts like a brush to eliminate excess water
- It also has a good retro -style pixels screen
I saw a series of humid and dry vacuum cleaners in IFA 2025, but one that stood out from a design perspective is the new S9 scientist of Tineco Floor One.
We are fans of this range, another Tineco model is in the #1 place in our summary of the best wet and dry market vacuum cleaners, and this new addition has a particularly great design and some very useful features.
The floor head has a flap that runs along the front edge. It contains magnets that mean when it pushes forward, rises to allow any rubble to feed the roller. When the machine retires back, descends and acts like a brush, cleaning excess water: the Tinesco line is that it leaves the surfaces ‘lists for bare feet’ almost immediately after cleaning. It is a simple but very intelligent addition, ensuring that your hard floor is cleaned without ending without too humid or slippery.
For hard or dry spots, you can also activate the ‘Hydroburst’ function, where the S9 will fire a stream of high pressure water from the front of the head of the floor to the problematic area, ready to be shot and hidden.
Other useful features include a built-in gyroscope that acts as a car differential, adjusting the individual wheel speed for soft turns with a minimum effort, automatic suction and water level adjustment, an impressive execution time of 60 minutes and ultra-Calma Autocar mode.
However, what really caught my attention when I saw scientist S9 in person was the design of ‘Cyberpunk’.
It is difficult to make a wet flood cleaner look great, but I think Tineco has achieved it here. There is a retro -style screen on the front that uses thick pixels to transmit key information, a color change ring to indicate when the S9 has detected dirt on the floor, a battery icon to show its load, etc.
Tineco Floor One S9 scientist must go on sale at the end of this year in the United States, with a list price of $ 799 (TB). It is also expected to be available in the United Kingdom and Australia at the beginning of next year, but I have no projected prices for those countries. He sits next to the S9 Artist Steam, which is a brother model with a more curved and less retro design and a steam function.
