AJ Styles returned to an actionless fighting ring (TNA) total for the first time since December 2013 on Sunday night during the payment by vision of the Slamiversity.
Styles went out to his best -known entrance music. As soon as “preparing to fly” in the UBS Arena, Long Island fans, New York, almost blew the place of the place. Styles took the moment and went to the crowd.

“It has been a long road. Here I am in this ring in this company where my name was built. I am the phenomenal styles of AJ,” he told the roar crowd. “There was a time when they said that you can not come back. But here I am, and I tell you that the lights are a little brighter here, the crowd is a little stronger here and Leon (Slater), the talent is better than it has ever been.”
Styles put Slater, who had just defeated Moose to win the X-Division championship and become the head of X-Division younger in the history of TNA.
“The phenomenal” is considered the best TNA fighter of all time. He was six times X-Division champion and won the TNA Heavyweight World Championship twice. He was also three times heavyweight champion of the National Fight Alliance when the company was aligned with TNA. He joined WWE in 2014.
It was far from being the only prominent point of the night.
The WWE NXT female champion Jacy Jayne faced against the TNA Knockouts champion, Masha Slamovich, in a winning-take-ALLOl match.
Jayne showed that it was his world and that everyone else was living it. She nailed Slalavich with the rolling bis and set her for victory. He was one of the best matches of the night, and Jayne will arrive in Waltz to NXT on Tuesday night as a double champion.
Jeff and Matt Hardy, the legendary label team known as Hardys, were challenging for the TNA label team championship in a four -road staircase match. Nic and Ryan Nemeth defended their mosaics, with AJ Francis and Kc Navarro and Myron Reed and Zachary Wentz also entering the fray.
Jeff Hardy showed that he still has some high -flying tricks under the sleeve. He hit two Swanton dives in Reed and Wentz and then dropped an oscillating rope staircase in the game.
The Hardys defended the Nemeths in the ring, and Jeff climbed the stairs to obtain the titles.

At the end of the game, the stalker of the Hall of Fame of TNA left to go to the Hardys. Bully Ray, half of the 3D team with D’On Dudley, challenged the Hardys a last game in Bound for Glory in October. The three men set their hands in the ring, and it seemed that the game was on.
In the main event, WWE NXT Star Trick Williams put the TNA World Championship on the line against Mike Santana and Joe Hendry. It seemed to be Santana’s night. He came out through the crowd with a lot of fans behind him.
The champion went out to the Harlem Gospel as a whole singing his entrance music. He had a great feeling of fighting.
Towards the end of the game, Williams was nowhere. It seemed to be injured when TNA’s medical staff attended him during the last five minutes or so. Santana got her hands in Hendry and hit him with turning the block. He tried to go for the pin.

In the last second, Williams returned to the ring and took it out. He covered Hendry to collect victory and retain the title.
Slashiversary established the record of the most attended American event of all time when 7,623 people appeared to the event.
