Islamabad:
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said that Pakistan has the Iranian ambassador to Pakistan in high esteem and is entitled to all diplomatic privileges.
The FO spokesman said that the Iranian envoy is highly respected in the country for its positive role. Being a close friend and ambassador to the neighboring country, he has the right to all diplomatic privileges, protections and recognition, he added.
The FO spokesman stressed that the role of the Iranian envoy is commendable to strengthen fraternal ties between Pakistan and Iran, adding that diplomatic relations between the two countries are based on mutual respect and dignity.
