LAHORE:
The National Highway Authority (NHA) has announced another increase in tax rates for national roads, highways and highways, marking the second increase this year. The revised tariffs will enter into force on April 1.
According to the latest notification, RS70 will now be loaded by cars, RS150 for cars, RS250 for buses, RS300 for two and three axes and RS550 trucks for large articulated trucks. The toll rates on the main highways have also been reviewed, including M1, M3, M5, M5, M14 and E-35 highway.
For the M1 highway that connects Islamabad and Peshawar, the toll for cars has increased from RS500 to RS550. On route M3, from Lahore to Abdul Hakeem, the tax has increased from RS700 to RS800.
The toll for cars traveling on the M4 highway, from Pindi Bhattian to Faisalabad and fine, has increased from RS950 to RS1,050.
For route M5, between fine and sukkur, the toll has risen from RS1,100 to RS1,200. Motorists on the M14 highway from Dera Ismail Khan to Hakla will now pay RS650, above RS600.
The Toll Tax on the Hassan Abdal-Havelian-Kansehra Highway (E-35) has increased from RS250 to RS300 for cars, with larger vehicles that also experience an increase in charges on all highways and highways.
