Tom Brady talked about the advice he gave Shedeur Sanders while sliding in the NFL draft to the fifth round before the Cleveland Browns finally selected him with selection No. 144.
Brady was the NFL 2000 Draft selection of the NFL Draft out of Michigan. New England patriots chose it. Drew Bledsoe was the team’s headquarters and Michael Bishop appeared in seven games more than Brady in his rookie season. John Freisz also appeared in 2000.

When Brady received the opportunity to take the reins of an injured Bledsoe at the beginning of the 2001 season, he acted at the elite level. The rest was truly history.
Brady appeared in the “Unpaulive” podcast with Logan Paul and Mike Majlak. He was asked about the Sanders Draft slide. He said he was not involved in Sanders’ evaluation process, even as a minority owner of the Las Vegas Raiders. He criticized the narrative of the media around the draft before sharing his words of wisdom to Sanders.
“So, nobody knows. I really sent a text message to Shedeur because I know him very well,” Brady said. “And I said: ‘Friend, whatever happens, wherever you go, that is your first day. The 2 imports more than the draft. I was 199. So who could talk about that better than me? What really means. Use it as motivation. You will take advantage of your possibilities, take advantage of it.’ ‘
Sanders had a null agreement with the Brady brand when he was the field marshal in Jackson State. He helped begin the relationship between the two athletes. Sanders then transferred to Colorado once his father, Deion Sanders, assumed the position of chief coach.

Brady recalled having seen the coverage around Aaron Rodgers during the 2005 draft. It was projected that Rodgers would be a number 1 selection before the San Francisco 49ers took Alex Smith.
“I remember when they talked about Aaron Rodgers sliding and Aaron slipped so that I like 21 in the first round or whatever. “Wherever you finish, it’s still about your performance. Like, what do you do when you get there, because you are going to arrive”?
Brady mentioned that some of the greats he played in the Patriots were not draft selections or selected at all, including Rodney Harrison, Wes Welker, Julian Edelman and Danny Amendola.

And it’s an Important Day, It’s Fun, and I Love Watching It And Seeing It. But i’ve Also Been There On Day 2 Actually Gotta Show Up and Learn to Playbook, Learn (To) Be a part of A Locker Room.
Sanders will now seek to win the initial work with the Browns. He has to overcome Kenny Pickett, Joe Flacco and Dillon Gabriel.

“It has to appear every day because, as a field marshal, you have to be a leader,” Brady added. “And for me, a leader is, do my teammates worry me and I care what we are trying to achieve?”
