Buzbee represented two dozen of the women who accused Deshaun Watson of sexual assault, and all but one of those cases ended in a settlement. Buzbee also represented the woman who accused Jay-Z and Sean “Diddy” combs of assault when he was only 13 years old. Those charges were retired, and Jay-Z is now demanding a woman and Buzbee.
Sharpe accused Buzbee of aiming black men, but Buzbee dismissed such a notion.
“I suppose that a group of old white men could say that I am pointing them out, and a group of multinational corporations could also say that I am pointing them out … I think I could say that I was aiming at BP,” he said, with respect to his demand against the oil company. “If I think it’s a legitimate case, then I pursue it.”
Sharpe said “he really enjoyed” his abbreviated period in ESPN, where he appeared in “first shot.”
