Murree and the northern areas are experiencing an increase in tourism while the strong snowfall covers the upper parts of Pakistan.
According to the officials of the Pakistan Tourism Development Corporation (PTDC), La Nevada has attracted thousands of visitors anxious to enjoy the picturesque winter landscapes, with popular destinations such as Murree Mall Road, Jhiga Gali, Ayubia, Cashmira Point and Ghora Gali, Swat, Malam Jabba that presents a significant influence.
Local authorities have deployed additional personnel, including the Traffic Police and administrative staff, to manage the increase in visitors. Murree’s transit director emphasized the need for security, advising tourists arriving in well -equipped four -wheel vehicles and avoiding parking on the main roads. “Our traffic staff has been helping vehicles fighting with slippery conditions, and I congratulate them for their diligent work in such an extreme climate.”
Beyond Murree, the lovely valleys of Kalam, Bahrein and Malam Jabba in Swat have also seen a considerable increase in tourist activity. The families of the center of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa go to these picturesque places to enjoy snowfall and participate in winter sports. Cold temperatures have increased the winter atmosphere, which led visitors to group while exploring the impressive environment.
Naveed, an employee of the Islamabad government, expressed his enthusiasm for the unique offers of the region, “the combination of swat snowfall, trout fishing and winter sports are not compared in Pakistan.” His feelings reflect a growing appreciation for the various experiences available for visitors, from skiing in Malam Jabba to fishing in the virgin waters of the Swat River. The next events include a winter gala and sports rafting competitions along the Swat River, aimed at further promoting local tourism.

The Emergency Operation Center remains operational, with the Pakistan’s disastrous management authority that coordinates efforts to eliminate blocked routes.
