The Karachi Traffic Police have finished traffic agreements for Eid Milad-Un-Nabi (PBUH) processions scheduled for Saturday.
The superintendents of the Police (SSP) will personally supervise the movement and security of the processions in their respective districts, declared that the spokesman for the Karachi Traffic Police.
To guarantee a soft traffic flow through the city, a detailed deviation and an alternative route plan have been marked. Citizens have been urged to use alternative routes to avoid inconveniences.
Two main processions will depart from Memon Masjid in the afternoon. The first procession will begin at 2:30 pm and will end in Aram Bagh Masjid. The second procession will begin at 3 pm and end in Nishtar Park.
Traffic amusements and alternative routes
For Central District, travelers who come from Nazimabad can use Lasbela Chowk through Nishtar Road and Garden to reach their destination. Those who come from Liaquatabad can use Teen Hatti, then turn to Lasbela Chowk and proceed to Central Jail (Martin Road).
The traffic from the Plaza Hasan to the people’s chowrangi will deviate through Cashmiro Road, Society Light Signal (Shahrah-E-Qaideen) and the high passage prison, finally arriving at Teen Hatti to Nishtar Road (Lasbela).
The traffic police spokesman said that Guru’s traffic will be allowed to send Numaish under any circumstance.
In the East district, the vehicles that are directed from Shahrah-E-Fafaisal to Numaish through Noorani Kebab must turn in the light signal of the company and use road Kashmir to continue towards their destination.
Central Jail Gate travelers (Jamshed Road) who are heading towards Guru Mandir and Ma Jinnah Road will be diverted through Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Soldier Bazaar.
In the South District, vehicles from the Garden Zoological Area to Ma Jinnah Road will deviate through the Anklesaria Hospital, turning right to Gul Plaza or Left to the Coast Guard/Holy Hospital Family.
Lucky Star’s traffic to Ma Jinnah Road through the business market will be redirected in Saddar Dawakhana towards ChowRangi people.
The traffic that intends to get to Burns Road will be sent through Abdullah Haroon Road to Mr. Kiyani Chowk. However, Dr. Kiyani Chowk’s traffic will not be allowed to Court Road (Kabotar Chowrangi). All these vehicles will be diverted through the Arts Council to Pakistan Chowk.
Similarly, Shahrah-E-Liaquat traffic A Burns Road will be redirected to Aram Bagh Light Signal to Pakistan Chowk.
Restrictions for heavy and commercial vehicles
Heavy and commercial vehicles heading from Super Highway or Gulberg to Ma Jinnah Road will be diverted in Liaquatabad no 10 towards Nazimabad no 2 Chowrangi, then through Habib Bank Labivo, State Avenue Road and Sher Shah to Mauripur. The route will be used for both the entrance and the return.
National Highway vehicles with the intention of entering the city must use Shahrah-E-Fafaisal, Rashid Minhas Road, Stadium Road, Sir Shah Suleman Road, Hasan Square, Liaquatabad no 10, and follow the same SHH-MAURIPUR ROUTE.
No vehicle, regardless of its size, can enter Guru Mandir Chowk or the procession route. All that traffic will deviate to Bahadur Yar Jang Road and Soldier Bazaar.
Access and parking restrictions
The entrance in Ma Jinnah Road is strictly prohibited for all vehicles, except those with special windshield stickers issued to participate in the processions.
Parking on the procession route is completely prohibited. The Traffic Police have asked citizens to cooperate and use alternative routes designated to reach their destinations without delay.

The Traffic Police have appealed to the public that remains informed and avoids the routes affected during eid-unabi (PBUH) processions to avoid interruptions and delays.
