Tragic accidents in Fateh Jang and Naushahro Feroze leave 16 dead and many injured

At least 16 people have lost their lives and dozens more have been injured in traffic accidents that occurred in different parts of the country.

According to a statement from the highway police, a bus traveling on the M-14 highway near Fateh Jang met with an accident in which 10 passengers were killed and 7 injured.

Initial reports indicate that the accident was caused by driver negligence.

Upon receiving the news of the incident, a large contingent of highway police rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies and the injured to Fateh Jang THQ Hospital.

The bus, which was traveling from Bahawalpur to Islamabad, was severely damaged in the accident.

Meanwhile, in Naushahro Feroze district of Sindh, a collision between a van and a trailer near Moro area left 6 dead and 15 injured. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and took the victims to a nearby hospital.

Reports indicate that the condition of 10 of the injured, who were sent to Nawabshah, is critical. The victims were returning from a wedding ceremony.

Additionally, in Jhang district near Gadh Mor, a tractor collided with a high-roof van, injuring 12 people. Initial reports suggest that a brake failure on the truck caused the accident.

The injured, all belonging to the same family, were traveling from Faisalabad to Fatehpur at the time of the accident.
