The legend of tennis Martina Navratilova has defended justice in women’s and female sports and has attacked Democratic legislators who have not shown support for her and others.
Navratilova on Thursday raised a question to the Democrats, since some states have continued to turn the executive order of President Donald Trump to keep men out of girls and women’s sports.

“What are you willing to give up the Democrats for men who identify as trans?” She asked about X. “Abortion … The Constitution … Rule of Law … that’s just to start …”
At the beginning of the year, Navratilova criticized Democratic legislators who killed the protection of women and girls in the sports act. The legend of tennis asked the Democrats to “grow a spine” in a publication on social networks.
Trump signed the executive order in February and Navratilova regretted that the Democrats did not do what the president did.
“I hate that the Democrats completely fail women and girls in this very clear issue of women’s sports only for women,” he wrote in an X publication.
Secondary organizations in Maine, California and Washington have not changed the policies that currently allow transgender athletes to participate in sports of girls and women.

Meanwhile, Democratic legislators as the representatives of Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez in New York and Jasmine Crockett of Texas have minimized the issue, even when Trump campaigned and defeated Vice President Kamala Harris in the general elections.
Ocasio-Cortez mentioned the general issue of democratic support for the trans community during an interview in the podcast “The Weekly Show with Jon Stewart” on January 23.
“When we allow ourselves constantly distracting by these cultural wars around trans people, it is something new every day, and the answer is not that we simply let these people be attacked, we say: ‘What are you doing, man?’ I think we must make these people defend only a last moment idea that is not even a debate, “said Ocasio-Cortez.
“As we need to understand and see the bait of what it is, but we do not have the hook by letting those rights be erased and continue along the way.”
Ocasio-Cortez has previously voted in favor of multiple bills that would allow trans athletes to play in women’s sports and girls throughout the country, including equality law and the declaration of transgender rights. He also said on January 14 that the protection of women and girls in the sporting act would empower children’s sexual predators and that “trans girls are girls.”

In an interview with the 19th, Crockett ruled out the issue of trans inclusion in women’s sports as a “distraction”, while minimizing the potential impact they have had on the lives of women and families. Crockett made the comments while criticizing the Democrats for dividing on the subject.
“In this choice, we allow ourselves to divide. We allow them to distract them, and allow them to talk about trans people,” Crockett said. “According to them, trans children, want to practice sports. That is the biggest problem we have had. Since when? Since when do the little trans child who is ruining your life. I mean, I’m just doing? What are we doing? What are we doing?”
