I have worked very hard to reach this point to play in the DGPT, but the sacrifice of my career and my hard work is worth it if it means that I can make a difference for other women, the daughters, nieces, and the future of our sport. “I took this position today because I was having anxiety to play with the openly trans transmission player on the tour due to the protests planned for this year and the threats of violence in the event last year. “They assured me that there would be controls of bags, police and security at the event. Upon arriving this morning there was no security or police presence, they also allowed me to enter even though I did not have my credentials. There was zero security precautions.”
Wilson added that he believes that the decision will end with his album golf career.
“Today I probably ended my career and that’s fine because this is bigger than me.”
