Transcrypts wins pitchfest in Hong Kong consensus

Four and a half years ago, when Zain Zaidi was requesting the postgraduate school, he presented his academic transcripts. But, through an administrative error, the documents were lost, and almost lost their place.

Understanding how someone’s life could be altered by not being able to demonstrate something like an academic credential, Zaidi set out to try to make it easier.

Instead of going to the postgraduate school, Zaidi began the Transcrypts, which helps companies verify labor information. The Startup with Blockchain engine recently won the Pitchfest of Coindesk in the consensus of Hong Kong.

Zaidi says that if we cannot try data about ourselves, we renounce something important about who we are. “We, as consumers, cannot verify who we are, owners of who we are,” Zaidi told Coindesk Live after leaving the stage.

Transcrypts offers people “auto-obese” about their identification information, demonstrating their information in the chain.

Zaidi told us that the business already generates around $ 5 million in annual income. After employment information, the startup is now expanding to medical records and academic records.

Transcrypts collected $ 10,000 on tokens, a trophy and ten training sessions.

In second place was Credshields, an automated audit platform that scan, manages and fixes vulnerabilities in intelligent solidity contracts.

Ten teams competed in Pitchfest in Hong Kong, including Oneverse Technology and Liquidium (both finalists) and the semifinalists Apillon, Domi Chain, Gosats, IBTC, Nettyworth, Tokenyze, Vanilla Finance and Zypher Network.

The event was presented by Dimitra, a Token and a set of tools for small farmers.
