The star of the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce, found the perfect moment for her teammate, Patrick Mahomes, to return for something she said before her season began in Brazil on Friday night.
Mahomes and Kelce met with the media members in São Paulo, Brazil, on Thursday, a day before facing the Los Angeles Chargers to begin their 2025 campaign, and it was the business as always in the presser with Mahomes answering a question about the preparation of the team that addresses South America to play.
“We have had a plan for this throughout the summer, and now we are ready to play football again,” Mohamses replied to his question.

Then, Kelce was asked especially the Chiefs fandom that was seen in São Paulo streets, and his response made everyone in the room laugh. I was to go through the hoarse voice of Mohomes.

“I had that to tell everyone that I didn’t know where Brazil was on the map,” Kelce said. “It’s an exciting moment. You can stay with the boys and the team. This is something we will all remember.”
The regular NFL season is a true routine, from which these two bosses know a lot. That is why it is always good to be in a good mood, and sometimes that means taking a joke here and there.
However, Kansas City is looking to start with the right foot in Brazil, going against a hard rival of the AFC West in the Chargers, led by the second year chief coach Jim Harbaugh.
The last time the Chiefs were in a football field was against the Philadelphia Eagles in New Orleans for the Super Bowl Lix, and did not end how they wanted it. They could not make the history of the NFL as the first team to win three consecutive Super Bowls, but the confidence that surrounds Kansas City has not faltered despite the result.

So, while the teammates are joking each other, Kelce and Mohamcs know that the work must be done on Friday night to guarantee a 1-0 season against a formidable opponent.
