A judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles ordered the woman who accused the former Dodgers of Los Angeles, Trevor Bauer, of sexual assault to pay more than $ 300,000 for violating the terms of a conciliation agreement on Monday.
Lindsey Hill accused Bauer of sexual assault in 2021, which led to a MLB investigation that resulted in a massive suspension for Bauer. Finally they would resolve their demands in 2023, with Bauer demanding Hill for defamation, while she demanded by assault and sexual assault.
It was agreed that none of the parties would pay the other, but that changed after the judge of the Superior Court of Los Angeles, Daniel Crowley, ordered Hill to pay Bauer $ 309,832.02. This comes after Hill’s lawyers told Bauer’s lawyers in an email that he would receive $ 300,000 of his insurance policy.

Bauer will receive $ 220,000 for damages, while lawyer fees ($ 68,939.55), interest ($ 16,634.52) and costs ($ 4,257.95) take the total total to more than $ 309,000.
Hill violated his conciliation agreement with each other by discussing Bauer in podcasts and in public appearances, Los Angeles Times reported.
Bauer sued Hill in October, when demand cited 21 claims in a podcast or social networks, which were alleged violations of his conciliation agreement that forbade him to say that Bauer or any representative “paid any money as a consideration for the agreement.” Hill never played or responded to Bauer’s demand.

In turn, Crowley gave Bauer a default victory after Hill’s lawyers told Bauer’s lawyers that they had not presented a strong enough case in February and then did not justify their fees in April.
While he was ordered to pay Bauer, Hill went to a diatribe of social networks saying that he would not do so by court decision.
“Here is everything I am going to say: you will never see a penny of me and know it,” Hill published in X with a heart emoji. “They gave me 300k for what he did in 2021, and I refused to participate in this demand in any way. He will never see a penny. I refuse to give him money or my sanity. I love everyone!”
Bauer’s agent, Rachel Luba, applauded with her own publication on her X account after seeing Hill’s response.

“Note: I’m not sure I understand how the law works,” Luba wrote. “Despite his statements, he cannot decide whether he pays him or not: Bauer can decorate his salaries and take advantage of any asset. In addition, he cannot appeal when he simply chose not to participate and defend herself against the demand (which was very white and white to start with zero, she did not win the time. A loser case for them …”
Hill replied: “Oh Sissy, when you fight against a sociopath for years, you prepare your life so as not to have your name tied to any asset. In terms of salary ornaments, baby will not happen. Atrár me if you can. I feel that I will not contribute to your night background.”
Bauer is currently launching in the Japan Nippon Professional Baseball League. He has been out of MLB during the last four years due to the accusations of sexual aggression that led to a suspension of 324 games by MLB, but then reduced to 194 games after an appeal.
His suspension can be up, but no MLB team has brought Bauer back to the Redile. Bauer has never been one to avoid sharing his thoughts, and he wouldn’t do it in this case.
Bauer suggested last August that MLB is the reason why he cannot sign with another team, not because a team does not believe that his talent is still there to act at the level of major leagues.

He recently called MLB after Pete Rose and other former deceased ball players were taken from the permanently ineligible list of the League.
“So, since Pete is welcome now, is that for all who have been black?” Bauer asked in X. “Or do you really have to be guilty of something to qualify for that?”
