The American Classic debuted in 2003, and since its inception, the game has seen some of the most important names in the major league baseball game in the event. Bryce Harper, Gunnar Henderson, Bobby Witt. JR, Gerrit Cole and Francisco Lindor are among the star players who have played in the game over the years.
Of the 1,126 players who have participated in the event in the last 22 years, 850 were recruited and 293 players were in the first round.
Hoffman, who has the second more salvation in the history of MLB (601), has been involved with the event for more than a decade and has served as honorary president of the game. The great parents said he is excited to be on the bench and interact with the best high school players in the nation.
“I think that is the biggest opportunity I have. It is one thing to walk with a PG shirt or a pole and then the children try to discover who you are. But you have a uniform, you are on the bench, and you are interacting with them. Either in a batting practice or during the game, it will only have a different feeling,” Hoffman told Pak Gazette Digital.
“When you are with the children and you have the opportunity to share your ideas and give them the opportunity to show their things, you are right there. It is easy to encourage and meet them, so I am anxious for the game and be close to the children.”

Klesko said that if he had not had events like the American classic that grew, he could not have reached the big leagues.
“If we did not have the help to grow and have events like this to be able to attend and show us, fortunate (growing) in California, and we had a little of that, not as much as it is now, but it was not for events like this and coaches that helped us and we received some instructions, I know that I would never have done it,” Klesko told Pak Gazette Digital.
The 16 -year -old MLB veteran said he is “excited” to be part of the trip for young athletes in this year’s game.
“Many of these guys, as if it were so overwhelming, and obtained many tips from so many different areas,” Klesko said.
“I think for us, it does not necessarily tell them what to do, but simply give them advice on what we have happened in the past and only help them navigate. It’s not about us, it’s about their next steps and I think we are all excited to be part of that trip for these young athletes.”

Hoffman and Klesko also have a coaching staff full of former MLB stars for the game.
His coaching staff is composed of the stars of the parents Phil Nevin and Mark Loretta, the winning manager of the World Series Charlie Manuel, winner of 20 Scott Erickson Games, 1995 to the MVP MO Vaughn, 7 times Alfonso Soriano, 3 times there
Hoffman said that for the coaches they took the opportunity to help the next generation of stars through the process.
“I think it was an opportunity really wanted to be close to the children,” said Hoffman.
“These are the children, and it is the children and the game at all levels. So, when you have the opportunity to talk to some people who have gone through the process, such as Ryan (Klesko), and having great people who are advising children in other places, what a great situation you are putting together.”

Daron Sutton, whose extensive experience in the MLB air has varied from the host prior and after the game to the game announcer per game since 1998, the American classic has announced since 2009 and will announce it again this year.
Sutton told Pak Gazette Digital that, although the event has evolved over the years, the event has always had elite talent.
“I would like to tell you that talent has evolved, but talent has been there from the beginning. My second game, a 16 -year -old Bryce Harper, played in him, so there was always talent. Just after that, (Francisco) Lindor and Javy Báez were in the game. There has always been elite talent.”
Sutton said his favorite part of the game are the “individual moments” that occur.
“The All-Star games are fun and unique because it is the individual. No strategic decisions are made, there are no intentional walks that are divided, there are no releases or anything, that is a different type of transmission,” Sutton told Pak Gazette Digital.
“We are all baseball fans, we know what it is, so it is the only time. An opportunity for an athlete to have a moment and then see them deliver.”

“Like any great Derby or All-Star game, it is that unforgettable moment, we have dozens of them.”
For Brad Clement, Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Perfect Game, its favorite part of the event is its philanthropic aspect.
“The event itself is incredible, all the different baseball activities, the loot they receive. But almost for a player, the most shocking when we have been in San Diego has been to see those children who have treated or are dealing with pediatric cancer in the hospital because we make that visit. Really, that’s what everything is,” said Clement told Pak Gazette Digital.
“We’re Thrilled Again to Be (Donors) of Rady’s Children’s Hospital, One of the Elite Hosp Through their resources in their communities and almost all do, and our partners.
Hoffman made Clement echo and said that his favorite part of the event is when the athletes go to Rady Children’s Hospital in San Diego.

“Children have the opportunity to visit Rady’s Children’s Hospital, see some of the children who are younger and perhaps a little less fortunate, and are going through some difficulties, and you can really appreciate what their opportunities are. There is a charitable arm with which they can participate and allow the communities of their city
The classic All-American of Perfect Game is not only for players to show their talent, but also their families. Clement said that the perfect game houses a symposium of parents to highlight what will come for their children during the next year.
“We believe that it is important outside the field sharing with them how it will be next year, so we have a parent symposium to help them learn how this will be at this time and for last year’s class (class) that will go to it because the season of high school is over, and the draft is doing a lot of intoxicating things that go to university or sign a contract, whatever. Therefore, what we try to help parents.
Klesko said he really wants to help children, but their families through the process.

“I think just help them go through the process. I know many children, many families, everything is new for them. Many things are being launched,” Klesko said.
“If Trevor and I and some of the other main players can help them navigate through the process of going to professional, going to school, whether nutrition or training. There are many different questions that are going through the minds of these children.”
Hoffman said it has been “special” to see that the event grows over the years.
“The talents (the children) are out of the lists, the competition is real and it is great to provide a platform that can do such things,” said Hoffman.
