There was a remarkable absence when the Cincinnati Bengals veterans began arriving at the training camp this week. The Star Pass corridor, Trey Hendrickson, did not inform the camp, since he continues to press for a contract extension, ESPN confirmed on Tuesday.
The Bengals officially start the training camp on Wednesday, but it seems unlikely that Hendrickson is in the state of Ohio at this time.
The defensive wing shared a photo on his Instagram account on Tuesday that showed him driving on a road in Florida. Hendricks is Native to Florida, but his destiny foreseen at the time he published the photo in question is not clear.

Hendrickson jumped all the low season activities of the Bengals before the start of the training camp. The 30-year-old obtained the first team’s honors after his captures of 17.5 NFL leaders last season.
As is currently, 2025 marks the last year of the Hendrickson contract.

ESPN reported that Hendrickson and Bengals representatives reached a dead point on the amount of money guaranteed included in the possible extension after the first year of the agreement.
The request for guaranteed money informed occurs after other prominent passes corridors obtained new lucrative contracts this low season. In March, Myles Garrett was rewarded with an extension of the record contract, which included estimated guarantees of $ 123.5 million.

The extension briefly turned the Cleveland Browns Edge Edge Rusher of the League, the best paid in the League. TJ Watt eclipsed Garrett’s agreement last week when he reached an agreement with the Pittsburgh Steelers in an extension of three years.
Hendrickson was in Cincinnati in May during low season training. At that time, he made clear journalists who had no interest in carrying the field under the terms of his current contract.

More recently, team president Mike Brown described Hendrickson as a “good guy”, but also suggested that the edge corridor had not been easy to negotiate.
“We like Trey as a person,” Brown told journalists on Monday at a multimedia lunch. “It is a good guy. But when it comes to these negotiations, and we have gone through some of them with him, he pushes strongly. He gets excited.
“We never have an easy moment, but there is one thing that is consistent: it is always done, and I think it will do it. But we’ll see.”
The Busk coach Zac Taylor offered an update on the communication he has maintained with Hendrickson and his defensive linus companion Shemar Stewart; The rookie has also refused to inform the training field in the middle of a contract dispute. Taylor talked about some of the differences between Hendrickson and Stewart situations.
“I think the rookies are different because they have not had time in the field and have still demonstrated themselves at this level,” Taylor said. “I think that at any lost moment it is quite critical for those guys.
“While veterinarians, I’ve seen Play Hendrickson. We would love to have him here, I love to do it, but I know what to expect from Trey when he gets here.”
The Bengals open the regular season on September 7 against the Browns.
