Trey Hendrickson has spent his last four NFL seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. The Star Passes Corridor has only one remaining year in his contract with the Bengals and recently requested permission to find an exchange.
Despite the commercial application, Hendrickson hopes to remain in Cincinnati.
“However, it shakes, there is no place to prefer to be,” he said at the beginning of March.
During the NFL exploration combination in Indianapolis, the Bengal staff director Duke Tobin suggested that Hendrickson’s team and agent were progressing in a new contract for the Defensive Wing Star.

However, the recent comments of the executive vice president of the Bengal Katie Blackburn at the annual league meeting did not give credit to Tobin’s comments. Blackburn’s words led a frustrated Hendrickson to call the organization for an apparent lack of communication in recent months.
“That was a bit disappointing, because communication has been poor in the last two months,” Hendrickson told “The Pat McAfee Show” in reference to Blackburn’s comments.

“That is something that I have in high esteem. They have not communicated directly with my agent. It has been something that has been a bit frustrating.”

Hendrickson added that conversations with the Bengals have been largely “here and there.”
Hendrickson finished each of the last two seasons with 17½ catches. Its estimated base salary of just over $ 15 million for the next season pales compared to its counterparts. Myles Garrett agreed to an extension of record contract with the Cleveland Browns earlier this low season. The agreement will pay Garrett approximately $ 40 million annually.
The Los Vegas Raiders passes corridor, Maxx Crosby, signed an extension of three years last month and will win an estimated $ 35.5 million per season.

“I think he [Hendrickson] I should be happy with certain rates in which you don’t think it’s happy, “Blackburn said Tuesday.” I think some of that is in him to be happy at some point, and if it is not, you know, that is what keeps him sometimes. So, you know, it leads you to say yes to something. And, also, we have all the respect in the world for him. He has been a great player. We are happy to have it. And maybe we will find a way to make something work. We will only see where it goes. “
Despite the last turn of the events, Hendrickson said that the “communication line” remains open for his part.
“They are more than welcome to call me,” said Hendrickson. “I have had my cell phone, the same cell phone number from high school. The open communication line is always open with me and with my agent. So, if they have something they would like to discuss, we have only been willing to listen.”
Hendrickson made it clear that he was looking for a long -term contract, not a short -term agreement.
“We have no desire to be the best payment or, you know, first in line,” he said. “I will not enter all the details, but, as, there are things that I am willing to do and willing not to move. I do not think I want to play for incentives that will be out of my control. I do not think I want to play (in a) short -term contract … I would like to tell my wife, ‘This is where we are going to live. Here is where we are going to build a family together.” You know? “
