  • Freedoms of the White House President of the President of the United States Plan of 20 points.
  • The plan requires truce, hostage exchange with Palestinian prisoners.
  • Israel has launched one of its greatest land offensives this month.

Washington/Cairo/Jerusalem: President Donald Trump has said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, agreed a peace plan backed by the United States for Gaza, even when Israeli forces press one of their fiercest offensives in the mistreated Palestinian enclave.

The proposal requires a high fire and the release of hostages, but its success still depends on whether Hamas will join.

Speaking at a joint press conference with Netanyahu, Trump said they were “beyond very close” to forge a difficult peace agreement to achieve and that Hamas hoped would also accept it.

The White House released the plan of 20 Trump points that demands a high fire, an exchange of hostages held by Hamas for Palestinian prisoners held by Israel, an organized Israeli withdrawal of the Palestinian enclave, the disarmament of Hamas and a transition government directed by an international body.

“I also want to thank Prime Minister Netanyahu for accepting the plan and for trusting that if we work together, we can end the death and destruction we have seen for so many years, decades, even centuries and start a new chapter of security, peace and prosperity for the entire region,” Trump said.

On Netanyahu’s fourth visit to the White House since Trump returned to office in January, the right -wing Israeli leader was looking to underpin the most important relationship in his country after a series of Western leaders formally hugged the Palestinian state last week in the challenge of the United States and Israel.

Trump, who strongly criticized recognition movements as a prize for Hamas, sought Netanyahu’s agreement despite Israel’s doubts in parts of the plan.

He marked an intensive diplomatic effort of the president of the United States, which he promised during the 2024 presidential campaign to close the conflict quickly and since then has repeatedly stated that a peace agreement was close, just so that it did not materialize.

The apparent absence of Hamas of negotiations has asked questions about the perspectives of the last initiative.

Meanwhile, said a senior Hamas official AFP On Monday, the group had not yet received the Trump Gaza’s peace plan.

“We have not received Trump’s proposal. We will study it and respond once we receive it,” said the official, speaking on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.

The tanks are addressed more deeply to the city of Gaza

Washington presented its peace plan to the Arab and Muslim states outside the UN General Assembly last week, and Trump’s main objective on Monday was to try to close the remaining gaps with Netanyahu.

White House conversations occurred when Israeli tanks on Monday pushed more deeply into the heart of Gaza. Israel has launched one of its greatest offensives of the war this month, with Netanyahu saying that its goal is to eliminate Hamas in its final redoubts. The war has left much of Gaza in ruins and has caused a great humanitarian crisis.

Upon arriving by Limusina, Netanyahu was received by Trump outside the white house doors with a handshake, a marked contrast with the cold reception of the Israeli prime minister when he spoke on Friday before the UN General Assembly, where dozens of delegates came out in protest.

The high fire efforts backed by the previous United States have crumbled due to the lack of closing the gap between Israel and Hamas, and Netanyahu has promised to continue fighting until Hamas is completely dismantled.
