Dechambeau will serve as president of the Council.

With the signing of the Executive Order, Trump will address the “generalized epidemic of the decrease in health and physical condition with a proven approach that celebrates the exceptionalism of sports and physical conditioning of the United States.”

The Executive Order will order the Council to create “school programs that reward excellence in physical education and develop criteria for a presidential fitness prize.” The Council will be associated with professional athletes, sports organizations and other supporting support figures.
