President Donald Trump received the support of the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Scott Turner, in the midst of the impulse for Washington commanders to leave their current nickname in favor of the Redskins.

Turner was a NFL defense for eight years. He played for the Washington Redskins, San Diego Chargers and Denver Broncos from 1995 to 2003 before calling him a race.

He wrote a message in response to Trump on Sunday.

“I played at the NFL and was recruited by the Washington Redskins. Not the ‘Washington Soccer’ or the ‘Commanders’,” he wrote in X. “@Potus is right. It’s time to return the name of the Redskins.”

The Redskns selected Turner in the seventh round of the 1995 draft. He played three seasons in Washington. He had 106 cup and five interceptions in his career.

Trump put the bombing in the commanders, and the Guardians of Cleveland of MLB, on Sunday with two social positions of truth.

“The Washington ‘whatever it is’ should change its name immediately to the Washington Redskins football team. There is a big cry for this,” Trump wrote first. “Similarly, the Cleveland Indians, one of the six original baseball teams, with a historical past.

“Our great Indian people, in large quantities, want this to happen. His inheritance and prestige are systematically removed. Times are different now that three or four years ago. We are a country of passion and common sense. Owners, do it!”

Then, he threatened to endanger the agreement of the commanders to take care of the old RFK stadium site if they did not return to the name.

The Super Bowl champion says he would ask Trump to help recover the Redskins nickname

“My statement about the Redskins of Washington has exploded completely, but only in a very positive way,” Trump wrote in a second social publication of truth. “I can put a restriction on them that if they do not change the name to the ‘Washington Redskins”, and getting rid of the ridiculous nickname, ‘Washington commanders’, I will not make a deal to build a stadium in Washington. The team would be much more valuable, and the agreement would be more exciting for everyone.”

Daniel Snyder changed the name of the Washington’s team of Washington Redskins to the Washington football team before the start of the 2020 season in the middle of a summer of racial tensions. The team finally became Washington’s commanders, and Snyder sold the team to Josh Harris.

Pak Gazette Digital contacted the commanders to comment. Harris has made it clear that he does not intend to change the nickname again.

Harris said in the “special report” of Pak Gazette Channel in April that the team would not bring back the name of the Redskins even with plans to build a new stadium in Washington, DC

“The name of the commanders has actually acquired a surprising type of element in our building,” Harris replied to Bret Baier’s question about the name of Redskins that returns as part of this new stadium agreement. “So, people that certain types of players are difficult, who love football, are delegated commanders and Jayden [Daniels]For example, he is a commander, and are classified.

“And, you know, the commercial staff has gotten into it, and obviously, we are in a military city here. There are more military personnel than anywhere else, so we are moving forward with the name of the commanders, excited about that and not looking back.”
