President Donald Trump attends the final rounds of the NCAA 2024-25 fight championship in Philadelphia on Saturday.
For the president, he marks another stop on his tour of the main sporting events in what has been one of the most focused on sports in the history of the United States.
And Trump will be there to potentially see a chapter in the history of sports, since Penn State is looking to accumulate a streak of four consecutive national titles. The third time that Penn State earns four consecutive championships since 2011, since only Iowa and Ohio State have interrupted the Nittany Lions domain streak.
And Penn State is firmly in the driver’s seat to do so, leading with 169-margin points of 60 points over the second place Nebraska.
“We are going to the great fight. The reason I am in Philadelphia. They have the NCAA, the world, the fight for the university. And I have always supported the fighters,” Trump told journalists outside the White House on Friday. “So I want to support them. These are the great university fighters of the various schools. I think Penn State is leading, and Nebraska is in second place at this time. And many good things.”

Outkick’s co -founder, Clay Travis, gave the news that Trump would attend the event on Tuesday when he said in an X post that would be traveling “With” the President In “Air Force One” to the championships.
The White House confirmed Friday that Trump would attend the event.

Trump attended the annual rivalry game during his presidency, attending for the first time in 2016 shortly after winning the elections of that year. He was also in the game during each year of his presidency, even in 2020 in West Point.
