President Donald Trump promoted the achievements of Shohei Ohtani while welcoming Los Angeles Dodgers to the White House on Monday to celebrate his 2024 title.
Trump spoke very well about the star of the Japanese Dodgers who put himself in his own club during the regular season of 2024. He became the first batter in the history of MLB to reach at least 50 homers and steal at least 50 bases. The president turned to shake Ohtani’s hand and seemed to be stunned.

“It looks like a movie star,” Trump said. “He has a good future, I tell you.”
Ohtani had 54 homers, 59 stolen bases, hit .390 and drove 130 races promoted in 159 games for the Dodgers. He was awarded the MVP of the National League for his efforts. It was his first season with Los Angeles after signing a mass contract of 10 years and $ 700 million with the team in the low season.
Trump mentioned that Ohtani said 50-50 in a game in which he was 6 of 6. He said that some called “the best game in history.” He had three home runs and 10 races promoted in the game.

“Is it good,” manager Davie Roberts asked joke, who replied: “He is only improving.”
“And he is improving. That is scary for many people,” Trump said.
Later, Ohtani took a photo with Trump at the Oval office and posed with the declaration of independence.
Ohtani helped the Dodgers to a title of the West Division of the National League and maintained his batting in the postseason. He had three homers between the National League division series and the National League Championship Series.
He cooled during the World Series, but the team still managed to defeat the New York Yankees in five games. It was the second title of the Dodgers since 2020.

This season, Ohtani has three home runs in 11 games. He is hitting .268 with three ranked races and two stolen bases. You can also return to the mound and throw again.
