Trump, Regis Philbin, past appearances of other stars in Wrestlemania


WrestleMania of WWE is the biggest show in sports and has only grown as the company’s reach has grown exorbitantly in the last two decades.

On Saturday night it will be the beginning of Wrestlemania 41 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas with multitudes with exhausted tickets that are expected to go to the Las Vegas Raiders house the two nights. Not to mention that the city itself resorts to a wrestling paradise throughout the week prior to the event.

If there is something in which fans can bet, it is that celebrities and famous athletes of all kinds will be in the city for the event. The first episode of “Monday Night Raw” in Netflix in January was a good indication of who will be in Wrestlemania as Travis Scott, Vanessa Hudgens, Macaulay Culkin and Danielle Fishel were just some of the celebrities that appeared in the crowd.

Sports fans who generally do not follow Pro Wrestling may not know that Wrestlemania has presented celebrities and athletes since the beginning of the event in 1985.

Read below a list of celebrities that may not have participated in Wrestlemania.

Cyndi Lauper

Cyndi Lauper was having fun in the 1980s, and was rooted in the world of wrestling after his successful song “Girls Just Want To Fun” debuted in 1983. He appeared in the first Wrestlemania as Wendi Richter’s manager. Richter defeated Leilani Kai for the then Women’s Championship of the world’s fighting federation.

Muhammad Ali

Muhammad Ali was a bad man during the heyday of his boxing career and even had an impact on the professional struggle. He got into a confrontation with the Gorilla Monzón in 1976 and then reappeared for Wrestlemania I as a special guest referee for the Hulk Hogan label team with Mr. T against Paul Orndorff and Roddy Piper. Hogan and Mr. T won the game, helping Catapult Pro Wrestling to new heights.

William Perry

NFL players have a story of making appearances in Wrestlemania. William “The Refrigerator” Perry was in Wrestlemania 2 in Chicago and participated in the WWF vs. Battle Royal Battle Royal. NFL It was among the last NFL players eliminated in the competition, which was won by Andre The Giants. Jimbo Cover, Ernie Holmes, Harvey Martin, Bill Fralic and Russ Francis also participated on the NFL side.

Alice Cooper

Alice Cooper shook the Pontiac Silverdome in Detroit for Wrestlemania III while escorting Jake “The Snake” Roberts to the Ring for his match against Honky Tonk Man. The Hank Tonk Man won the game, but it was the beginning of Roberts winning favor with fans.

Lawrence Taylor

The legend of New York Giants Lawrence Taylor had an important role in Wrestlemania that only participate in a real battle. It was 1 to 1 at the main event of Wrestlemania XI in 1995, facing Bam Bam Bigelow. Taylor was praised for his performance when he defeated Bigelow.

Regis Philbin

Regis Philbin served as a guest commentator in Wrestlemania VII with the late host of “danger” as the ring announcer for the main event. Hulk Hogan defeated the sergeant. Matanza to win the wwf championship.

Mike Tyson

Mike Tyson was the most bad man on the planet in the 1990s and his celebrity took him through a story that involved “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and Shawn Michaels in 1998. Tyson had associated with Michaels and Paul “Triple H” mild in the generation D of generation X. He was named as the special executor for the game of Austin and Michaels Wrestlemania XIV. He ended up turning in Michaels and helping Austin win the WWF championship.

Donald Trump

Before being president, Donald Trump had a great story in WWE that linked his popularity of the “apprentice.” He was in the battle of billionaires in Wrestlemania 23 against Vince McMahon and backed Bobby Lashley in a match against the McMahon Umaga competitor. If Lashley lost the game, McMahon would have had to shave Trump’s hair and vice versa. Lashley won and Trump helped Steve Austin shave McMahon’s hair. Trump is a member of the WWE Hall of Fame.

Snoop Dogg

The legendary rapper on the west coast has appeared in multiple Wrestlemania events during his career. He was the master of the ceremonies of Wrestlemania XXIV for a match of the label team between María and Ashley Massaro and Beth Phoenix and Melina. He accompanied Sasha Banks to Ring for Wrestlemania 32 and was pushed to an impromptu party against the MIZ in Wrestlemania 39.

Kim Kardashian

Nicole “Snoaki” Polizzi

The reality show TV, Nicole “Snoaki” Polizzi, took the world as one of the key members of the successful “Jersey Shore” program. She competed in Wrestlemania XXVII in 2011 as part of a mixed six -people label team. The “Snoaki” team, John Morrison and Trish Stratus defeated Dolph Ziggler, Michelle McCool and Layla.

Rob Gronkowski

The legend of the New England patriots, Rob Gronkowski, made an appearance in Wrestlemania 33 in 2017 to help his friend Mojo Rawley win the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal. He was the host of Wrestlemania 36 in 2020 and won the WWE 24/7 championship.

Johnny Knoxville

Comedian Johnny Knoxville had a rivalry with Sami Zayn in 2022, and culminated in a match in Wrestlemania 38. He defeated Zayn in a match of anything with the help of the “Jackass” team.
