President Donald Trump spoke on Friday about going to the NCAA struggle championship on Saturday.
Trump told journalists outside the White House that he goes to Philadelphia to attend the final rounds of the tournament, since Penn State seeks to close the championship with a substantial advantage of 90.5 over Nebraska in second place at 62.5 and Oklahoma third place at 61.0.
“We are going to the great fight. The reason I am in Philadelphia. They have the NCAA, the world, the struggle for the university. And I have always supported the fighters,” Trump said. “So I want to support them. These are the great university fighters of the various schools. I think Penn State is leading, and Nebraska is in second place at this time. And many good things.”

Outkick’s co -founder, Clay Travis, gave the news that Trump would attend the event on Tuesday when he said in an X post that would be traveling “With” the President In “Air Force One” to the championships.
The White House confirmed Friday that Trump would attend the event.
The president of the Judicial Committee of the House of Representatives, Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, also joins Trump in Philadelphia, said a source familiar with his plans to Pak Gazette Digital.
Jordan himself was an outstanding fighting champion during his time at high school and at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he won the Title of Male Struggle of Division I of the NCAA twice. He was later assistant coach in the fighting program of the Ohio State University from 1987 to 1995.

Senator Dave McCormick, Republican of PA-PA., Will also be accompanied. McCormick previously confirmed that Trump would be present at the event at the Senator’s house State of Pennsylvania.

Wrestling championships are returning to the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia for the first time since 2011, when Penn State took advantage of being in their native state and won everything. That initiated a dominant career for the Nittany Lions that is still working: they have won eight of the last 11 of the last 13 titles, including each of the last three.
With a victory on Saturday, it would be his third peat in that section.
