PunchBowl News was the first to report that President Donald Trump will probably attend when the heads of the city of Kansas and the Philadelphia Eagles face this year’s Super Bowl in New Orleans. Associated Press confirmed the report, citing a White House official.

Freeman also pointed out some of the probable logistic concerns that Trump’s presence would create for the security personnel he drove and during Sunday.
“There is a reason why the presidents sitting normally do not go. It is potentially a security nightmare. But also, for me, they want the game to be the center of attention, not them,” he wrote.
Trump did not attend many NFL games during his first mandate in the White House. However, he made an appearance in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ Game against New York Jets in October after a campaign rally in Pennsylvania.
The president has been a more frequent guest at university football games in recent years. He made his presence feel in the Alabama-Georgia game in September and attended the game of the Army-Navy after the presidential elections of the United States 2024.
