President Donald Trump will sign an executive order to create a task force of the White House Olympic Games for security purposes and other problems before the 2028 Games in Los Angeles.
The working group must be composed of Trump cabinet members, as well as government agencies, said an administration official to Reuters.
One of the main priorities of the working group will be to coordinate the federal, state and local work in transport. They will also “optimize the processing and accreditation of visas for athletes, coaches, officials and foreign media,” according to an email to Reuters.

“During his first term, President Trump was instrumental in ensuring the United States commitment to organize the 2028 Summer Games in Los Angeles,” said White House Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, in a statement on Monday. “The president considers that it is a great honor to supervise this global sports show in his second term.”
The president and president of La28, Casey Wasserman, said that the working group “marks an important step forward in our planning efforts and reflects our shared commitment to deliver not only the biggest, but the best games that the world has seen in the summer of 2028”.

Wasserman is expected to join Trump at the White House on Tuesday afternoon for the firm.

Although Canada and Mexico will be auxiliary hosts, the main host country of the World Cup will be the United States. It is the first tournament that will be organized by three nations. The United States has 11 of the 16 cities that serve as hosts for the football event, and the final is played in East Rutherford, the New Jersey Metlife Stadium.
So, although this working group will plan 2028, the United States will have security protocols for the World Cup, which could also be used two years later.
Los Angeles has been a host site for two Olympic Games, the first of which was in 1932 and the most recent in 1984.

The 28th opening ceremony is scheduled for July 14, 2028, and the competition will run until July 30. There are also the Paralympic Games of La28, which will begin on August 15, 2028 and will spend on August 27, 2028.
