As reported that Democratic congressmen plan to use pink for the joint discourse of President Donald Trump on Tuesday to protest in support of women’s rights, a Republican senator is reminding them of what his party voted on Monday.
Representative Teresa Leger Fernández, Dn.M., told Time on Tuesday that dozens of her Democratic colleagues will appear to Capitol Hill to use pink for Trump’s speech to “point out our protest of Trump’s policies that negatively affect women and families.”
“Rose is a power and protest color,” Fernández told The Outlet. “It’s time to accelerate opposition and come to Trump strong and clear.”

In response to this news, Senator Mike Lee, a republican of Utah, called the match for his protest attire reported for women only one day after the Senate Democrats voted unanimously against the protection of women and girls in the sports law.
“When you see the Democrats with Rosa for television cameras tonight, remember that 45 of them voted for men to invade women’s sports just yesterday,” Lee wrote in response to Time’s article in X. “It’s an act.”

The bill failed to eliminate the key procedural obstacle by a 51-45 vote, along the party lines. All Democratic senators voted against the motion to proceed, with the exceptions of the sens. Elissa Slotkin, D-Mich., And Peter Welch, Dv.T., who were absent.
Therefore, the bill was filibusterado and is presumed dead, unless it is reintroduced on a later date.
Senator Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., Not only voted against the bill, but also made a “thumb down” gesture while she voted.
Since then, many Democrats have faced a great online reaction to vote against the bill.
Meanwhile, Trump approved an executive order to keep trans athletes out of girls and women sports on February 5, which has been widely praised by women’s rights groups.
