Trump’s dispute with the Maine government extracts the republican senator’s reaction

Senator Marsha Blackburn, R-Ten., Reacted to the Governor of Maine Janet Mills with President Donald Trump on the issue of transgender inclusion in women’s sports.

Trump signed the executive order of “no men in women’s sports” earlier this month to ensure that no transgender athlete competes against women or girls in sport. Some states, such as Maine, have stolen the executive order.

Everything led to a public dust between Mills and Trump on Friday. Trump threatened to retain federal funds if the State continued to allow trans athletes in women’s sports. Mills replied: “See you in court.”

Blackburn talked about Maine’s decision in an “Pak Gazette Live” interview with presenter Mike Emanuel.

“This is one of those defining problems between the left and the right,” he said. “We completely believe that President Trump is right in this. It is the policy of the federal government that we will support title IX, since there, for sports of women and women, and we will not support men, biological men in women’s sports. President Trump said this is the federal position and, therefore, the governor should enforce that.

“I should want to protect the sports of women and women. It’s amazing you choose not to do that.”

The executive director of the primary governing body for high school sports in the state of Maine said that sports teams will continue to determine the eligibility based on the established gender identity of a student, despite the president’s executive order that seeks to maintain “Men outside women’s sports.”

The governor of Colorado, Jared Polis, a Democrat who serves as president of the National Association of Governors, spoke about Mills and Trump’s dispute.

“As governors, we have our previous initiative in which we continue working is to disagree better,” said Polis.

“We always hope that people can disagree in a way that raises speech and tries to reach a common solution around … what is the problem. I don’t think that disagreement is necessarily a model of that,” he continued, adding that some governors may not have known the origins of burning exchange at that time.
