The Federal Minister of Religious Affairs, Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, said Sunday that the government was trying to send as many pilgrims as it could for Hajj, and added that 10,000 Pakistani more have allowed them to perform the pilgrimage in private.
“We are trying to allow many of the 179,210 pilgrims to travel through Hajj,” said the minister while talking to a private television channel. “Of that number, 50 percent are under the government’s scheme, and their agreements are complete.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Religious Affairs will begin the provision of vaccines to the Pilgrims of the Hajj since Monday (today).
