The Superior Court of Peshawar (PHC) has dismissed a petition presented by ANP leader, Aimal Wali Khan, seeking the formation of a high -power fact committee and a judicial commission to explore the repercussions of PTI’s government policy to reset TTP in Khyber Pakhunkhwa (KP).
In his request, Senator Aimal had argued that he was harmed by the resettlement of TTP members, a banned organization, after the departure of the international forces of Afghanistan in 2021.
He affirmed that the KP in general and the leadership of his particular party led the worst part of the terrorist activities carried out by the TTP and, nevertheless, the PTI government in 2022 allowed the resettlement of terrorists in the province as a “gesture of goodwill.”
In his order, the court admitted that during the last decades, the KP has suffered a lot for the threat of terrorism.

The court indicated that the petitioner has requested the formation of a high -power commission to reveal what the reassection of the members of the banned group were.
