Islamabad:
The FIA (Fine Zone) has arrested two people involved in human trafficking and visa fraud as part of their continuous repression in illegal migration networks.
The arrests were carried out during the main operations in different parts of the city.
According to a FIA spokesman, the arrested suspects have been identified as Muhammad Muzammil and Sher Khan. Supposedly, both individuals were executing scams promising a job abroad to citizens in exchange for large sums of money.
Preliminary investigation revealed that Muhammad Muzammil cheated a citizen to pay 852,000 RS offering a false work opportunity in Saudi Arabia. Similarly, Sher Khan allegedly disappointed another individual of RS2 million with a false promise of employment in the United Kingdom.
Despite taking significant amounts of their victims, the suspects did not fulfill their promises and then hid. The FIA tracked and arrested them successfully from different locations in fine. The migrants smuggling has become more frequent and dangerous in recent years, with the trend that impacted the country’s reputation.
The Government, under pressure to act to stop the illegal Exodus, had approved on February 17 the “prevention of people traffic (amendment) bill, 2025”, aimed at amending the prevention of the traffic of the Law of Persons, 2018 and the “prevention of migrants (amendment) of migrant migrants (amendments), which framed the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of the prevention of Santia, of the contragrade.
