Two young people were killed after an accelerated water tank truck crushed their motorcycle near Agha Khan signal in Korangi Road defense on Sunday, authorities said.
The children, 12 and 15 years old and brothers for relationship, died on the spot. Their bodies were transferred to the Jinnah postgraduate medical center.
The incident caused public outrage when the oil tanker, with the registration number TTC 237, caught fire after the angry premises set on a protest. The driver fled the scene.
According to police accounts and ocular witnesses, the oil company transported water, lost control while running through Korangi Road.

The police arrived shortly after, putting a man in custody to set the oil tanker. The Fire Brigade was called to extinguish the fire, but the front of the oil tanker was completely destroyed.
The Defense Police Station, Sho, Bilal Ahmed, identified the victims as Tauseef Shah, 12 years old and his 15 -year -old brother, Ayan Shah, both residents of Korangi Ghari. The children’s father, owner of a meat store in A -Market along Korangi Road, told police that his children had left home to visit Sea View.
The sho pointed out that the speed of the oil company and the possible lack of attention of the children contributed to the collision. CCTV images are recovered to rebuild the events. The efforts to locate the driver who flee is ongoing, and contact with the oil owner, Muhammad Ali.
A suspect was arrested for burning the oil tanker, and more legal actions are being carried out. The crane truck removed the crane truck to clear Korangi Road and restore traffic flow.
