‘Pakistan counteracting the false narrative of India in the UN’

Meanwhile, Senator Sherry Rehman, a key member of the United Nations diplomatic delegation, issued a solid statement today from New York, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to expose the manufactured propaganda of India and present the position of the country’s principles on regional peace, international law and responsible diplomacy.

“Under the leadership of President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, our delegation has launched a diplomatic dissemination of complete spectrum in New York,” said Senator Rehman. “We are here not for photographs, but for strategic commitment to the international community in the heart of the UN system.”

Senator Rehman emphasized that Pakistan is actively presenting his diplomatic agenda, focused on peace, sustainable development and regional stability. “The image of Pakistan as a responsible and stable power is clearly articulated. We are highlighting our unwavering respect for international law and our constructive role in the peace and security of southern Asia,” he said.

Rejecting the recent falsehoods of India, Senator Rehman warned against the dangerous normalization of the use of accusations of terrorism without foundation as a pretext for war. “The narrative manufactured of India will not be allowed to really disguise. Using false accusations to justify military aggression is not only irresponsible, it is unacceptable,” he said. “Terrorism is a serious global problem and should be treated seriously, not exploited to obtain political profits.”

Senator Rehman recalled Pakistan’s strong sacrifices in the fight against terrorism. “We have fought one of the longest and most difficult terrestrial battles against terrorism. Our people have paid with blood and resources. Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto was martyred by extremists. We do not need conferences of those who manufacture threats for electoral theater.”

Senator Rehman praised the president of President Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the international stage. “The prime minister has trusted President Bilawal the responsibility of presenting Pakistan’s clear position on Indian violations: whether aggression of water, background or infractions of international peace laws. His response during the recent military provocations of India was clear, reasoned and effective.”

Senator Rehman underlined Pakistan’s commitment to dialogue and decallation, but not at the expense of silence. “As a responsible nuclear state, Pakistan believes in a broad, fair and peaceful commitment. But we will not remain silent with the reckless and dangerous policies of Prime Minister Modi. We will continue to warn the world of its consequences.”

At the end of his comments, Senator Rehman declared: “Either on the battlefield or on the diplomatic front, Pakistan knows how to defend himself. We are here to ensure that the world sees through the fog of erroneous information, and to reaffirm our lasting commitment to peace and global cooperation.”
