MUZAFFARABAD:
In a fierce battle between the agencies of application of the law and the terrorists in the area of Hussain Kot of the district of Rawalakot, Azad Jammu and Cashmiro (AJK), four terrorists were killed while two police officers hugged the martyrdom.
According to the police, when the Security Forces raided the hiding place of the terrorists, the suspects opened fire and threw grenades from hand to the attack party, which resulted in the immediate martyrdom of two police. In an attempt to avoid capture, terrorists detonated explosive devices, committing suicide on the spot.
Police confirmed that the most written leader and terrorist, Zarnosh Naseem, also exploded while trying to flee. It was sought in multiple cases of high profile, including the murder of agent Sajad Resham, and had hidden in the Rawalakot area for a long time. The authorities declared that he was an active member of a prohibited militant organization that operates in AJK.
Dig Ponch Sardar Zaheer confirmed the death of four terrorists and the martyrdom of two police officers during the operation.
Meanwhile, Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised the successful anti -terrorism operation in Rawalakot. He homed tribute to martyrdom police, praising his courage and pointing out that his sacrifice prevented a great disaster in Ajk.
“Martyrded officers have given an example by sacrificing their lives in the fulfillment of duty,” Naqvi said. “The whole nation greets its courage and solidarity with the afflicted families.”
