Pakistani security forces killed nine terrorists in two separate operations based on intelligence (IBO) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) province, according to public relations between services (ISPR).

The first operation, carried out in the Mohmand district, followed intelligence reports that indicated the presence of militants. During the operation, the security forces involved militants in their location, which resulted in the death of seven terrorists.

However, two Pakistani soldiers, have Muhammad Zahid, 37, from Malakand, and Sepoy Aftab Ali Shah, 26, of Chitral, were killed in the clash.

The ISPR paid tribute to the fallen soldiers, stating that “they made the last sacrifice and hugged Shahadat” (martyrdom) in the fulfillment of duty.

In a separate operation in the Maddi area of ​​the district of Dera Ismail Khan, the security forces dedicated themselves to a shooting with militants, killing two more terrorists.

The ISPR reported that weapons and ammunition were recovered from the militants, which were believed to be involved in multiple terrorist activities.

Continuous disinfection operations are underway to eliminate the remaining terrorists of the region.

The ISPR reaffirmed the commitment of the security forces to eradicate terrorism, stating: “Pakistan security forces are determined to eliminate the threat of terrorism in the country.”
