Rawalpindi:
Two more supposedly involved people in making inappropriate videos of female patients at the Kahuta Thq hospital have been identified and are currently under investigation by the District’s Health Authority Research Committee.
The National Cyber Crime Research Agency (NCCIA) had previously arrested Shakil, a radiology machinist, and Zainul Abideen, a room servant at the Hospital of the Tehsil headquarters (THQ) Kahuta, for harassing female patients and registering illegal videos.
Shakil is also accused of blackmailing women who use the footage. The arrests, made on July 9, 2025, followed a complaint that led to the presentation of a FIR by virtue of the PCA law of 2016, marking a significant violation of medical ethics and public trust.
The CEO of the CEO of Kahuta’s health authority, Dr. Asif Arbab Khan Niazi, in a statement to the application on Thursday, revealed that the problem dates back to 2022, when Shakil was warned and monitored by male and female officials under the supervision of Dr. Zaheer. Despite previous investigation and punishment, Shakil did not reformed his behavior.
“Recently, a complaint was filed before the FIA videos, which led to Shakil’s arrest and another individual. We suspend them, we released a new investigation and also suspended two other staff members who knew about the videos but we have not informed them. The department ordered a strict punishment to avoid such incidents in the future,” said the CEO.
“We have expanded the investigation, and two more employees are being investigated for not informing the Hospital Management despite being aware of illegal activities,” he added. “The health authority will not tolerate any malicious act by the hospital staff.”
The initial research on the accusations confirmed that Shakil acted inappropriately with a female patient in the X -ray room, while Zain registered the incident.
The DHA has formed an investigation committee of three members.
