A couple of experienced players, but youth from the NFL recently made their shocking retirement ads.
The New York Jet Corridor, Zach Evans, 24, and the offensive guard of the Washington commanders, Nate Herbig, 27, decided to leave it this week. The decisions arrive shortly before the NFL opens the 2025 preseason with the game of the Fame Hall of Thursday in Canton, Ohio.

Evans revealed his plans to retire on Monday. He was transferred to the New York Reserve/Remove List.

Evans finished his only season at Ole Miss in 2022 with 936 yards by land and nine touchdowns. Its 6.5 average yards per haul led the SC in that season.
The Los Angeles Rams selected Evans in the sixth round in 2023. He appeared in 10 games in his rookie season. Evans passed parts of the 2024 season in the Rams and Jet Practice squads.

A day after Evans announced his retirement plans, Herbig announced that he would move away from the league.
Herbig was not recruited in 2019. He finally spent the first three years of his professional career in football with the Philadelphia Eagles. He also had a period of one year with the Jets and a two -year race with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Herbig signed with the commanders earlier this low season and 30 race openings are attributed.
The training fields opened through the NFL last week. The Detroit Lions and Los Angeles chargers will meet Thursday in Canton, Ohio, to officially begin the preseason.
