  • The improved missile range for Ukraine would be dangerous: Kremlin.

Russia fired his greatest drone bombing in Ukraine, authorities said on Monday, only a few hours after Donald Trump called Vladimir Putin “crazy” and warned that Moscow risked new sanctions if he maintained his deadly bombing.

The president of the United States has tried to negotiate the end of the three -year war, but has failed to extract important Kremlin concessions, despite the repeated negotiations and several telephone calls between him and the president of Russia.

For three consecutive nights, Russia has hit Ukraine with large -scale drones attacks, saturating its aerial defenses and killing at least 13 people on Sunday, authorities said.

Russia triggered “355 Shahed type drones,” including the lures, in the largest drone attack of the invasion between Sunday night and Monday morning, as well as nine cruise missiles, said the Ukraine Air Force.

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Monday that “there were no longer rank restrictions” in arms supplied by Western allies to Ukraine, which allowed kyiv to attack “military positions in Russia.”

It was not clear immediately when the decision was made or what countries their policy had changed.

The Kremlin said that any western decision to raise the rank limits in weapons delivered to Ukraine would be “dangerous” and “disagree” with peace efforts.

In a rare reprimand of the Russian leader, Trump said on social networks on Sunday night: “I have always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has become absolutely crazy!”

“I have always said that all Ukraine wants, not just a piece of it, and maybe that is demonstrating to be correct, but it will lead to the fall of Russia!”

Previously, Trump told reporters that “he was not happy” about Russia’s attacks against Ukraine and that he was “absolutely” considering increasing sanctions against Moscow.

The French president, Emmanuel Macron, said he expected Trump’s anger with Moscow, “in action”, and that the president of the United States realized that Putin was not ready for peace.

‘Critical moment’

The Kremlin made Trump’s criticism, saying that Putin was taking “necessary measures to guarantee the security of Russia.”

“This is a very critical moment, which is full of emotional stress for all, as well as emotional reactions,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attacks showed that Russia had a sense of “impunity.”

“The increase in Russian strikes must find greater sanctions,” he said on social networks.

The invasion of Moscow of Ukraine in February 2022 has killed tens of thousands of people, destroyed towns and cities, and stimulated the greatest crisis in relations with the West since the Cold War.

kyiv did not report any death from the last drone attack, but said that Russian bombing in the last 24 hours had killed a civilian man in the northern region of Sumy.

The Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat warned that it was increasingly difficult to counteract the large number of drones that Moscow was shooting.

“We need rational and cheaper ways to tear them down,” he told Ukrainian television.

A Ukrainian military source said AFP that kyiv was “somehow fighting” with the available air defense capabilities and that “there was no need to panic.”

“To maintain our defense, we need western weapons deliveries,” said the source, adding that the deliveries of patriotic missiles, as well as the Air Ranking Air Defense systems of NASAMS, and the IRIS-T short-range systems were especially important for Ukraine.

Russia said he had captured two border towns in the Sumy region, where he has been increasing an offensive for weeks.

Diplomatic efforts

Diplomatic efforts to finish the war have increased in recent weeks, with Russian and Ukrainian officials who have direct conversations in Istanbul earlier this month for the first time in three years.

Each sent 1,000 people over the weekend in their largest prisoner exchange, while Russia said he was preparing a document that describes his terms of peace.

More than possible exchanges from war prisoners would depend on more conversations with Ukraine, Peskov told reporters before Putin’s meeting with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, and added that Moscow was still working in a high fire memorandum.

Moscow has repeatedly rejected the proposals for a high 30 -day fire of kyiv and its western allies, while advancing in the front line.

On the other hand, Putin offered to work in a memorandum that indicates conditions for a high fire, which caused the critic of Ukraine to stop the conversations.

The Ukraine SBU security service said Monday that it arrested several people, including a teenager, for acting as “informants” for Moscow, guiding Russian attacks in the country.
