Uniswap Vote, US GDP: Crypto Week Ahead

It’s a quiet, shortened week in the run-up to the year-end holidays, with little scheduled specifically for cryptocurrencies.

The most notable event is Uniswap’s vote on a governance proposal called UNification. If approved, the proposal will trigger protocol fees, burn 100 million UNI tokens from the treasury, and bring Uniswap Labs and Uniswap Foundation closer to their operations. Voting, which has already begun, will end on Thursday. Early results show overwhelming support for the changes. Uniswap is the largest decentralized exchange on the Ethereum blockchain.

On the economic front, US GDP for the third quarter and a second estimate of PCE inflation will be released.
