King Charles scored his last real visit this morning.
On Monday, the official Instagram mango of the Royal Family published an idea of Charles’s last visit.
King Charles, also the Duke of Lancaster, visited Lancaster Castle in the morning.
This visit scored Charles’s first visit to Lancaster as the monarch.
During his visit, the King of Great Britain met Richard Brock and was received by the vitorial crowds.
As part of the tradition, Charles received the key to the castle in front of John O’Gount’s entrance door.
It is worth mentioning that King Charles has participated in the ceremony of the keys previously when he presented Queen Victoria in 1851, and then to the late Queen Elizabeth in 2015.
The Palace shared a video along with the statement that said: “It was wonderful to meet so many members of the local community in Lancaster Castle this morning!”
“The king, who is also the Duke of Lancaster, has participated in the traditional ceremony of the keys in Lancaster Castle!”
“This tradition dates back to 1851, when the castle keys were presented to Queen Victoria. Her Majesty also met with members of a Fiji choir, formed by the first battalion of the Duke of the Lancaster Regiment,” he concluded.
It is worth mentioning that it was the visit of King Charles without Queen Camilla.
