Punjab Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has appreciated the constructive and positive role of the United States in the midst of Pakistan-Indian tense relations.
During a meeting with the United States, Natalie Baker and Consul General Kristin K Hawkins, highlighted the active and positive role of the United States and considered it very important to achieve sustainable peace in the southern region of South Asia.
The relations of Pakistan-United States are a valuable association based on shared values and strategic interests, he said.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed his enthusiasm to strengthen the cordial relations between Punjab and California.
He expressed solidarity with the people of California being a brother State and described his meeting with the Caucus of Pakistan of the United States Congress as positive and constructive.
He stressed: “Pakistan is emerging as a strategic partner for the United States in several sectors, including textile. Punjab is the largest and most economically vibrant province in the country and welcomes the investment and cooperation of the United States in multiple sectors. The Paquistaní-American community plays the role of a strong bridge in the strengthening of more cordial resources between the two countries.”
She described: “We consider the United States as an important global ally to face formidable challenges such as climate change, food security and sustainable development. The Punjab government is anxious to further expand its strategic association with the United States.”
At the meeting, issues related to the strengthening of the long relations of Pakistan-United States and the improvement of cooperation in areas of mutual interest were discussed.
The prime minister thanked Natalie to a baker for supporting Lahore Qalandars in the PSL tournament.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Maryam Nawaz declared in his message about the International Day for Dialogue between civilizations: “The eternal solution to the ongoing atrocities in Palestine and the busy Kashmir is only possible to begin a significant dialogue through significant dialogue.
