A second flight that transports undocumented Pakistani immigrants deported from the United States will arrive in Pakistan next week, sources from the Federal Research Agency (FIA) said, since Washington applies stricter immigration policies under President Donald Trump.

The Pakistani embassy in the USA confirmed that eight people, including Rehman, Salem, Nawaz, Salman, Azeem, Khan and Khalid Masih, will be repatriated aboard a special American plane.

Of the deportees, six are being sent only by immigration violations, while two have a criminal record.

“Two people on the deportation list were declared guilty of serious crimes, including crimes related to violation and drugs,” said a FIA source.

The plane will land in Noor Khan Airbase in Islamabad, where FIA officials and security personnel will supervise the reception and verification process.

Separately, the authorities confirmed the recent deportation of Syed Rizvi, 56, a Pakistani citizen who had been illegally residing in Dallas, Texas. Rizvi entered the United States in 2017, but was found in violation of immigration laws.

The FBI arrested him on January 31, and was officially deported on February 25. The US authorities provided their photography and details to Pakistan for the maintenance of records.

“We are closely monitoring all deportees to distinguish between those involved in criminal activities and those deported only due to residence violations,” said a FIA official.

Upon arrival, the deportees will be examined for any pending legal case, questioned about their stay in the USA. And will help in reintegration if they are not involved in criminal activities.
